Co-Founders of The Shrill Collective

Kristina Cole, Ashley Croce, Erin Dahl, Chelsea Feltman, Lynda DeFuria, Allison Wilkes

Kristina Cole || Artistic Managing Director

Kristina Cole is a too excited, overzealous co-founder of The Shrill Collective. She is also an actor, writer, director, passionate high-fiver and museum aficionado. When she isn’t Shrilling, the Los Angeles native can be found on Billions, Parenthood and this season of The Blacklist, as the face of a jetlagged ingenue for Meetic, the spokesperson for JustFab and Downy Fresh Protect, and creating content at The Metropolitan Museum of Art for Museum Hack. Her favorite Shrill projects include directing “Lysistrata”, playing Mrs. Peters in “Trifles”, and directing “A Black Mass for Monica Lewinsky” for ShrillFestt. She has trained with Matthew Corozine (The Matthew Corozine Studio), Steve Braun (Bramon Garcia Braun Studio), Diane Harding (The Young Actors Space), and The Upright Citizens Brigade. In her spare time she nurtures her art by producing compelling imagery of her rescue dog, Pancakes.

Ashley Croce || Community & Outreach Liaison

Ashley Croce originally hails from the Boston area but has been making theatre in NYC since 2016. Favorite projects with Shrill include playing Amy in "Dry Land", directing "Trifles" and "Mock" (ShrillFest), and writing and performing for "Firsts". As an actor she has worked regionally at Commonwealth Shakespeare Co., Boston Playwright's Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Hartford Stage Company (world premiere “Rear Window”). When she is not working to crush the patriarchy through the magic of theatre she serves up craft beers to tourists and finance bros in Midtown. She hopes to create work as a theatre artist that empowers other women and tells the good, bad, and ugly stories that women have been telling each other in private for years. Education: BFA Hartt. || @ashcroach

Lynda DeFuria || Social Media & Marketing Manager

Lynda DeFuria is a Jersey born, Vegas raised lady who is beyond pumped to be making art with badass women for badass women. As a songwriter, she has released two albums of original piano-driven pop music (totally available on Spotify & iTunes) and received BMI’s John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship. As a performer, Lynda has appeared Off-Broadway and can currently be seen on the National Tour of “Kinky Boots.” Favorite Shrill projects include directing, writing, and performing in “Firsts,” playing Minnie Foster in “Trifles,” and originating the role of Monica Lewinsky in “A Black Mass for Monica Lewinsky” in “ShrillFest.” When she’s not singing or shrilling, she works as a teaching artist in NYC public schools. To-do list aficionado, pita chip lover, and proud Hufflepuff. Education: BM Berklee College of Music || @LYNDAmonsterr

Chelsea Feltman || CFO & House Dramaturge

Chelsea Feltman studied opera at Juilliard and Mannes before finding her way to Meisner. As a singer, she has performed classic roles, premiered new operas, and created multidisciplinary works both as performer and teaching artist. She is also a member of the art-punk septet Ecce Shnak. Favorite recent projects include playing Lize in the early 20th century operetta “The Sorceress” (National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene), creating the role of Ophelia in “A Black Mass for Monica Lewinsky” (ShrillFest), and co-creating “And They Spoke Back Her Name,” an electroacoustic monodrama based on the writings of 18th century astronomer Caroline Herschel. Former 2nd place Jeopardy contestant, tattoo addict, cat mom, and NY Times crossword puzzle fiend. || @eleanor_of_accutane

Allison Wilkes || Studio Liaison

Allison Wilkes is a pearl wearing feminist from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. When she is not using her art for activism she is a full time puppy mom, wife and Alabama football fan. Allison has been training at the Matthew Corozine Studio since 2014, and is truly thankful to Matt, the MCS community, and her truly woke husband Wes for all of the support and encouragement. Past credits include, New York: Julia (The Wedding Singer), National Tours: Woman 1 (If You Give a Pig a Pancake); Other favorites: Luisa (the girl) (The Fantasticks), and Violet (Side Show). Roll Tide! Proud member of AEA.

Erin Dahl || Co-Founder and Board Member Emeritus

Erin Dahl is a NYC based actor and writer who is so glad to be a founding member of the Shrill Collective, as it directly aligns with her central life goal to shatter the patriarchy, which she has been doing in both intentional (penning “I Arrived Sober,” a drastic memoir about hook-up culture) and inadvertent ways (defeating former man crushes at various forms of sport) since the early 90's. She has studied at Matthew Corozine Studio since September 2016, after studying Theatre (and Psych!) at Villanova University. Her favorite roles and career highlights so far include Jean Maitland in "Stage Door", Mayella Ewell in "To Kill a Mockingbird", and Ester in Shrill’s production of “Dry Land.” She is from Bridgewater, NJ. || @erindahlxx
